Please move this if it’s in the wrong location but u came across this site that lets you choose, compare, cross reference and much more diodes of many different types. Even lets you mix and match and plots the outcome out on a graph. Could be very useful.

Oh my bad lol, I guess it was just the Facebook algorithm recommending it to me then
I hadn't really looked at the curves, so the 1n270 swings out much more than the others. Therefore it doesn't clip as hard and has more headroom maybe? I'll have to reference that while breadboarding at some point and try to understand them all better. Seems like a cool resource!
