PSA - ElectroSmith has apparently temporarily halted production of Daisy Seed

I believe the official info is referenced in the post https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/...d-production-of-daisy-seed.28926/#post-376182

I have 3 daisy seed based things so far and find it to be a great platform to continue to work with and build on
Looks like they also announced general availability of the "Seed2 DFM" with "Differential audio outputs for superior noise performance". Is this the answer to the noise issues?

I talked with some retailers it seems like they stopped sending them to retail for now and only do direct orders for the Daisy Seed.

Update: I have received my seeds, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I am now in possession of 6 of them.
Should anyone need some in Canada let me know and we can work something out :)
On that note, do you still happen to have an extra one?

For what it's worth, Moog just sent me a note that if I ordered today I'd get it June 12. Also on the Daisy Discord someone from Electro-Smith said they are working on a Canadian distribution partner

I used the Moog Audio ETA form and it said May 18th when I looked in the beginning of May. So I checked with support and they responded:

"Unfortunately because of the shortage and inflated prices of memory, Electrosmith has decided to pause all production on them until thing stabilize as the prices have become unreasonable for these devices."

Nightlife told me that Electrosmith stopped selling Daisy Seeds through retailers in April.

So, you didn’t hear this from me, right?

For what it’s worth, I’ve been in touch with Andrew from Electrosmith about supply issues a fair amount recently, and he’s been reassuringly transparent with me. They’re moving all production from in house to outsourcing it. It seems like they’re doing this for a good reason, Andrew said they haven’t been able to keep ahead of Daisy Seed orders and outsourcing the production will allow them to have some on the shelves ready to ship.

This was reassuring, I thought. The Daisy is still in demand, and ES is making moves to keep it readily available. I get the sense they’ll complete the transition in June, after that Seeds will be shipping out much quicker than they have the last three months or so…

But, remember, you didn’t hear it from me.

For what it's worth, Moog replied to me saying they have ordered 10 from their supplier, but 5 are spoken for, so if you get in touch with them they might have a few available (that was yesterday though).
