SOLVED Defouler No Sound When On

Hey PedalPCB Forum users! I recently came back to the world of building pedals and I revisited my first ever non-kit project aiming to fix it up. This is a Defouler build I started 2 years ago that previously had no sound whatsoever along with issues with the LED's and the wiring.

I redid the wiring and added dust caps to the pots, and now it lets the signal through when in bypass, but still no signal when engaged. I was initially concerned that the jacks were shorting on the enclosure but if that were the case, it presumably wouldn't pass any signal at all.

Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be?

Double check that your power in and negative in are correct, remember most pedal power supplies are center negative and barrel positive. This is easy to check with a multimeter.
I have it wired like this: the black is negative (Ground Pin), and red is positive (+9V pin). 1000027635.png
I believe it should be correct as the LED's are lighting up when engaged. But I will double check when I get the chance.

Really does look like red goes to - and black goes to + on the board. Could just be an illusion?View attachment 119095
Jack itself looks correct, the L shaped center lug is black wire.
If the LED lights up, is both it and the board wiring backward?
Thank you guys! I ended up making the rookie mistake of wiring the jack in reverse, which also led to me to wire the LED's in reverse too. Everything seems to work now, and sounded good going into my interface, will try again tomorrow on my Peavey stack!
