Up early on a Sunday to finish this one up. My first Sheepylove build - hopefully, the first in more to come. Hot Teacher and Hebridean on deck waiting for a few remaining parts.

This one surprised me with how much hair on the drive - hence the Frizz I suppose. Bias control seems to give options. Really nice tones! I’ll be having some fun with this one today and days to come.

Tayda 125b, SBP yellow knobs, Cricut vinyl for my Frizzler guy. Check this one out - I think you’ll be happy with it.

I just finished the HT this evening. Took me a little time to order up a 750pf ceramic. I need to spend a little more time with it, but so far finding it a little spikey and hoping I can warm up the tone a little. I also want to compare it to the PPCB Unchained and The PCB Guitar Mania Wolfgang 5150 I just built last week. Good luck with your HT. Hope you’ll share your take on it!

Thanks for alerting me to the 750pf... I will see if I have one on hand.

Regarding your desire for warmth. Someone in the forum can probably tell you which capacitor values should be increased to make your tone warmer.

Let me know if i can help with the 750pf. I did need to pick up a whole variety box of ceramics on Amazon to get it here with minimal wait, but parts are always good to have around generally.

I think I may have found the cause of the spikeyness. I tried another guitar and that made a huge difference. Wanted to mention because don’t want anyone shying away from the HT build because it is very good as spec’ed. My regular bench guitar is a partscaster HH tele with a really hot Dimarzio in the bridge, and i think the high output was harshing the tone - at least to my admittedly untrained ears 😆

I didn’t notice any spikeyness in my through my amp but I play all Strats with low out single coils mainly. I don’t recall a 750pf being on this project I’m wondering if I substituted it. I do however thing there’s a 750pf cap on the Hot Teacher project and haven’t been able to find one anywhere.

Thanks for that! Yes I looked and did not have a 750pf for the HT so I ordered that kit on Amazon. Thanks for the offer.

You are correct! We were talking about Hot Teachers in the Frizzler!
