074CD has been discontinued.
Looks like the 074 may have been 5532ed. TI now lists it as cmos architecture. There's also the 074H, which has higher voltage rating and slew rate. The 074H looks pretty close to the 084H...
Hmm...
I'm going to guess we'll see a quiet replacement to the new spec die over time.

Not a huge impact for us outside of the VCAs but for DIY audio in general, not great. Hopefully the fine folks at @Cabintech will load up on 4305s.

That's doom for one of my projects, plus another one I was working on. That's the way it goes sometimes.

Just ball busting. It really sucks. It's a tiny niche part of the overall market but a huge blow for that market. I imagine it's really tough for some smaller pro audio outfits. Maybe someone will pick up the fab rights l. Here I am wishing Chinese owned Xvive will make the chips that were deemed not viable to make in the US any longer by the OEM. Our trade policy at work.

Not EOL, but no longer recommended for new designs: Kemet/Yageo EA2-5SNJ latching relay. Around 9,000 in stock. 40+ weeks lead time, and no indication of stock replenishment.

This Panasonic TQ-series relay looks to be pin-compatible, and also 5V. I'm not sure what other considerations are to be made regarding other specs outside of that.
