Been trying to get into the site for a few days and I get a 504 error

Russian bots were spamming the hell out of the place so he shut enrollment down at one point. I thought Brian opened it back up though.

Those dang bots have hit all the forums I think.

I just checked, still no link to join, just to sign in. The newest member joined June 8, 2025.

Yeah. bots are constantly scraping it. Over 2k guest visits today. That's not a real number

Site has been throttling the last couple of days and I'm not sure why. I'll check into it tomorrow and see what I can do.

The forum is kind of a lost cause at this point. It got completely jacked a couple years ago when I changed my hosting plan and no amount of effort on my part has been able to correct or fix it. I spent untold hours trying to repair the database/update the forum software along with requests to the host service to address it. Moving forward I think the best course of action is to archive it and start over. Admittedly, I've been putting that decision off for a while.
