How's this for a low-budget drilling template?

Measuring/drilling is my least favourite part of building. Do you guys use any template/guide, etc.?

I just hacked this template together out of foamboard, glue and finishing nails. I slide a 1590a inside, mark the holes, punch them and boom, drill press time. Seems to be working well so far. I don't think the foamboard will last very long though.

as much as I appreciate their paper templates, I don’t miss having to cut them out and tape em on. Their drill template is badass. Just got the input/output jack one as soon as it came back in stock.

Do it! It's made my 1590a's so much faster/less stressful to drill. Easy to rebuild too if I decide to make a change.
