Grover Drive great after guitar, but .. not after buffered pedals

Hi,
I've two Grovers builded, they sound fantastic, quite as good as my Butler Tube Driver.
But, unlike my TD, the Grover sounds thin after buffered pedals.
I've tried to connect it in the loop of a Boss LS-2 Line Selector: idem, not usable.

I known that EJ uses his Fuzz Faces after a Tube Screamer (on or off ).
I've tried too, I still had thin sounds with Grover (idem with Fuzz F).

There is probably something I don't understand.
Must I put a little buffer in the Grover ?
Any ideas ?
Thanks

Dover is a fuzzface into a zen, so you need to put it first I think
Thanks.
Yes, I know, but I need to place my Grover after delay as shown on EJ's board.
(I want to replace my Butler TD by my Grover)

Furthermore, Fuzz Face's don't sound good after Tube Screamer (on or off), even though EJ plays he's FF that way after Tube S.

You might want to try the MOSFET driver instead for what you’re trying to do. I suppose it’s possible to add a pick up simulator to the front end of the Grover, but that’s beyond my know-how.

Thanks David.
Yes, I was thinking to give a try of Mosfet Driver on my breadboard.
I have the orignal TD-X from Steve Painter's Buffalo Fx (think Cattle drive), nice pedal, but to me, it's far away from my Tube Driver.
The Grover is very sweet (with bias at minimun) for that EJ violin sound.
