let's see your pedalboard!

I finally talked myself into a Source Audio Collider. I have been interested in it ever since it was announced and at last I had some money and found one I could afford. It's kinda not as expensive as it sounds because it is two excellent pedals in one - or at least that's how I am placating myself! I have wished for a reverb/delay in one pedal for years. It sounds great but is a very different experience from using the Strymon Flint I had on my board before.

The middle pedal is a dual OD - the red one likes Gretsches and the green one likes Gibsons. And the first pedal is a Korg tuner. I could play any gig with the sounds I like with this board. It's all on a Pedaltrain Nano. pedalboard.jpg

I scaled mine back and this is it's most versatile yet. Line6 wireless to Polytune. LA2A -ish comp, home etched board using Madbean's Bajaman layout. Bio77 enclosured Aion Photon (SD pickup booster), jjjimi84 enclosured Aion Naos (Yamaha OD-10MII overdrive) all at the front of the amp. Line6 MM4 with preset doubler, TC Nova Delay, and PedalPCB Deflector in the effects loop. Dunlop power lives under the hinged top shelf.

Additonal notes. The Blue Tooth page turner runs an iPad for charts. The iPad is getting a bit long in the tooth, hence the power cord. The Peavey is a homemade channel/boost switch for an off-stage 6505 mini head. Rightbutton kicks on the onboard boost for the clean channel (making it a quasi-Crunch) and the left button kicks on the Drive channel (rarely used unless I need a really screamer solo sound).

Latest revision of the board. Quite happy with it, even if it's a bit crowded.
Just need to tidy the underside and I'll be good to go (play by myself in the basement...).

Here's the chain, on a Pedaltrain Metro 20, powered by a Truetone CS6:

Efflorescence Algale (PedalPCB Plecostomus Fuzz)
Coluber Constrictor (PedalPCB Constrictor)
Fairfield Circuitry Modèle B
Saturnworks compact black blender/buffer with Zoom MS-50g in its loop.
PedalPCB Duocast
Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maude (its loop is connected to the Send/Return of the patchbay)
PedalPCB Caesar
Red Panda Context v.1

Here are my 3 DIY boards (and some pedals on the floor), installed in the practice room, feeding 3 rigs.

The main board:
Bass -> Dunwich Doomfinder -> DOD Meatbox RI --> wet goes through the 2 Aggies into Sunn 200s/Acoustic 301.
Meatbox dry --> EFE Dope Priest --> Monolith Oracle --> DIY Silver Rose --> Hilbish Pessimizer --> Blackblood (=Dunwich Fuzz Throne DLX) --> Industrialectric Incinerator DLX --> Industrialectric Echo Degrader --> Industrialectric RM-1 --> Boss Flanger --> Boss DD7 --> tbc

DD7 output Left --> DIY Megalith -> Creepy Fingers Supa Fuzz with extras --> DIY Octave Fuzz --> DIY Polaris --> DIY Life Pedal/Hyper Fuzz --> Dunwich Wizard Fuzz --> Laowiz Foxx Tone --> DIY B&M Fuzz --> Dunwich Spatial Rift (Muff+Meatbox) --> RW O)) / 2x15"

DD7 output Right --> DIY Sputnik II --> Dunwich Temporal Rift --> Dirge Double Fuzz --> DIY Systech OD --> DIY Peach Fuzz --> Buzzaround --> DIY Life Pedal / Coda Black Hole --> Musicman HD 130 / Ampeg 6x10"

To hear and feel all this, we have in total: 4x EL34, 4x KT88, 6x10", 2x15", 1x18". (the Peavey 2x15" was replaced by an Ampeg 6x10").

The main board has stayed like this for a long time now. But I regularly swap out pedals on the left/right boards.

Those egg crates gave me a massive Flashback ! I went and bought a 100w marshall head from a guy and his room was covered, walls and celling with those ....lol

$200 for a i think it was a 72 head....wished i still had that, back then you couldn't get parts in 80-81 and it was missing that thing for the ohm selector...i traded that for a Sunn Amp solid state..Beta lead ???...long time ago gheez
