This question has been deep in the back of my craw for weeks now and I finally tested it. As far as I can tell, it is indeed buffer compatible. It's not volume-knob-reactive anyway, so the buffer doesn't really change that behavior either.

I bought one of these years ago for woodworking. It’s ok for stuff like hole saw-ing for a doorknob or whatever but it’s sucks ass for anything more precise. I used it for a couple enclosures and almost threw the damn thing out the window: too much play, too hard to line it up without cobbling...

I put mine in a 1590BB with a bright and hard clipping OD first in the order, which is basically the only way I can get any mileage out of the sag control, heh. together the combo sounds really trashy in a way I enjoy a lot, but I’m surely in a tiny minority there.

Damn, that waterslide looks really pro! Just finished a nomnom with 2SK208s as well and agree with your assessment. Sounds really nice and is the first pedal in a long time that’s gotten me to sit down and just get lost in playing.

Another nice build! I also find the slew control a bit jarring at times, especially when playing lower notes, and somewhat hard to dial in. Going off various demos on YouTube, I wonder if it would be less distracting when running a synth through it.
