The most common thing is to add a true bypass switch to make sure the pedal don't mess with the tone when not engaged. Landau's unit is not stock and there's a rumor it might even have been broken, so none of the direct signal get's through - only the "wet" part of the chorus effectively making...

I've had the same issue when I soldere 3 or more of the same board (can't remember which ones right now) - the exact same through hole on every board was nearly impossible to solder, so it's not because of issues with the iron, solder or temperature like others suggest.

Made a Line Isolator (bottom left) for this small dual ToneX board. Also my first custom PCB. Balanced inputs and thru, XLR outputs, ground lift and phase flip. Passive Also made a small interface box with a soft ground lift (upper right)

Believe it or not, but the Roland Jet Phaser was my very first guitar pedal. Such a wonderful and crazy pedal. Still have it and appreciate it more now, than I did back then ;-)

But we can still play loud without tubes ;-) This is a HUGE topic on it's own - we think we only use our ears to hear music, but that's very far from the truth. Loud music is "heard" trough the whole body ... part of why the term "feel" the music makes sense. In The Sphere they installed bone...

Thanks for the input guys! Adding a pan would certainly be a plus - great idea! Either will work fine. I'll use the mixer as a line mixer for a small wet-fx board in a wet/dry/wet rig with a reverb and two delays (all stereo outs) What do you mean by not "true" dual mono? Will I loose some...
