    VFE Darkhorse

Looks awesome! I've been waiting for these to come back in stock over there. I would imagine he is just out of the microcontroller for the switches or something.

Lectric-FX Old Chap Flanger (EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress)

It looks like you're testing voltage at TP1; does your DMM have the frequency count/Hz type function? I had to pick up a new DMM on Ebay to calibrate an A/DA flanger build. It's the VC97 if that helps!

    Yellow Hybrid Tone Bender

You are correct, it was the wish list post about this! I remember contributing my two cents on there. I ended up building without Chuck's mods just so I would have some frame of reference. I like it a lot as is but may give that a try at some point. I leave the fuzz control up all the way...

    Dream Fuzz

I'm always down for a fresh dose of venom! Love the build! Had this circuit on my mind lately now that you bring it up.

    Cattle Driver

Those work! Davies 1400s might give you a bit more clearance from the labels. I forgot about this drive circuit so will take a look. Great build!

    Blackhat/Schu-Tone DM-3

Thank you! I just searched on "echo" on dafont and got lucky! Pretty much exactly what I was picturing. Now that the build is finished, it is time to put a wah and drive in front of it and go down the Built to Spill rabbit hole!

    Blackhat/Schu-Tone DM-3

After almost two years, I'm proud to say I have finally boxed this amazing-sounding delay, despite the odd pulled-up solder pad or bridge (goofs I have not made often up to now)! I agree with wintersoldier; this hits very close to a top-shelf delay such as the Maxon AD-900. I went with something...

Update Muffin Fuzz + Kliche Overdrive

I have tried this exact combination and have to agree! I sold my '73 Ram's Head build as I want to do either a Triangle or the '75 (Mascis) version. I head you on those read LEDs being a bit dim. I finally realized I should drop the CLR down to 2.2k or so for those.

    Fuzzy Fox build report

What transistors did you use? I've built this circuit twice and it's nothing short of thick as a brick every time. That was even true when I accidentally used some fake germaniums and that fv of .45-.50. I wonder if you've got something going on with the pinout as the hfe you used should work well.

    Marigold Fuzz

I built this after a failed first attempt and agree it's an all-time favorite. It straddles the Tonebender and Big Muff line extremely well. It also has good volume knob cleanup, which I didn't really expect. I love that the tone knob sweeps from TB to BMP sounds so easily. I used OC141 in Q3...

First Build - Cherry Pi (Muffin Fuzz - Stomp '75)

Klon into Big Muff sounds awesome! Glad you like this one and welcome. I sold on a '73 Ram's Head I had built a while back (needed funds to finish up a wah build) so should really do another Muff at some point soon.

    Other Pedals DIY Honey Coma

I had not hear of Other Pedals so thanks for sharing this! Could be a Bee Baa in my future. Incidentally, I was able to hear an original one time played through my personal guitar and amp. A Japanese noise guitarist used them for a session at a college radio station where a fried of mine worked...

Foxey Fuzz (Tone Bender MKI.5 on stripboard)

I used it for Q1 but overall, it was a mix like the MkII you just posted. I had AC125 for Q3 and a random 2n217 in Q2. I think Q1 has a big influence over the sound, so you will probably like it! I need to try a MkI.V like you have here--I've done a straight Ge Fuzz Face but not this one!

Foxey Fuzz (Tone Bender MKI.5 on stripboard)

I agree with you about AC128s on a TB circuit. I used one in my MkII build and it sounded great. This one looks like a winner!

    Modded Tone Bender Mk. III

I agree about C2 being a good place to address the boominess. That value changed a fair but from the early MkIII to later MkIV versions, like 47uf down to 220n if I remember correctly. At that point the sound was getting smoother and a bit distortion like, almost presaging the Rat, etc. Judging...
