    Grind Customs GOAT (BB-style OD)

That was a dual-channel preamp using FETs and Ge diodes. The FET needed for it went extinct so it was a short-lived offering. You could probably still find posts about it on the Madbean forum from around 2016-17. I know it probably inspired some of jubal81's offerings as Bolt and Forge.

    Grind Customs GOAT (BB-style OD)

Thank you! I realized I am getting some intermittent footswitch pop on this even though I used an opto-bypass setup, lol...I'm suspecting a dodgy electro leaking DC, but can live with it until I get a chance to swap 'em out.

    Grind Customs GOAT (BB-style OD)

This is a modded Bluesbreaker-type board that jubal81 gave me years ago. I've not had much motivation to build overdrives since his Cascadia is so awesome, but I was having some nostalgia for the now-defunct Grind Customs when digging through my PCB stash, and I also hadn't really tried anything...

    Master Fuzz

Nice! This is on my eventual build list too. I've done a Standard Fuzz and a Kay Fuzz with a bunch of mods Mark Hammer came up with. They're both great but I have to do them all...that's a helpful point about the noise floor.

    Tube Bender: "Buffalo-Weaver Overdrive" (w/gerber)

Great build! I think I remember seeing that this circuit has some resemblance to the Keeley Fuzz Head, which I've build more than once and like a lot. I would like to go to Australia again as well. Can't move for the amazing bird life! Those shifty Ibis do like to come try and steal your food in...

PPCB Carmine Od (EQD Crimson Od)

Aha, you answered a question I've had about this! Looks like a TO-5 fits fine in the footprint for the ge transistor. Great build and report!

    Dung Beetle: "Horus"

Seriously love the design! This is one of my favorites fuzzes too; it also happens to be one of my favorites overdrive/distortion circuits. Yes it can do that much!

Home-Wrecker Nurse Quacky: "Ms Mallard Filter" (w/gerber)

The seventies artwork nails it! And I am old enough to have actually seem MTM on TV, lol...

    Way Huge Jehu Drive

RFTC were fantastic live. It was at the Howlin' Wolf in New Orleans and their horn section about blew the walls off the place! And John Reis stepped off the stage to personally toss out a guy whose vibe was throwing off the good times. Definitely wish I could have seen DLJ though!

    Way Huge Jehu Drive

I remember first hearing Drive Like Jehu on the way to a Rocket from the Crypt show in New Orleans in, I believe, 1993! Even just hearing that name again is good times. Great build!

    Court Jester/Shade of Night Build

The green knobs work really well in this context! Great build.

    Effectslayouts Cossack-klon Centaur

I built one about five years ago and it's progressively grown on me since then. I actually like its drive too, not just the boost. It must have to do with that 1khz peak--the klone has become my go-to for leads if I'm going through chorus, delay, etc. I can just hear it all distinctly, if that...

    Preamps builds: Figment & Decadence

I love that Peavey-style label on the Decadence! Nice work on both!

    Pumbaa Distortion

Looks great and yes on the mini chicken heads! I was not aware of this PCB so will have to check it out.

Trembling Satellite: "Pacific Loon Tremolo" (w/Gerber)

Loons! I live in Wisconsin but am originally from the deep South, so was fascinated the first time I heard/saw them in the Boundary Waters up in Minnesota. Perfect theme for your build! Upstate NY where you're from has quite similar scenery to some parts of Wisconsin, incidentally. It's a...
