Nice! I've also been working on a long-dormant Collosalus 2015 recently but it doesn't want to flange. This is inspiration for me to get back to the troubleshooting (not trying to hijack a build report thread)
The status LED won’t affect anything.
I don’t know about the transistors, sorry.
If you still have issues after reflowing then you probably need to build an audio probe and check the circuit.
It doesn’t look like you used a socket for the op amp (RC4558). You might consider using them in the...
Looking at the build doc, I think you’ve got the orientation for the daughter board correct. Also, the build doc does describe the sequence of modes for the rotary switch, and it lists tone bypass first and ’cheese mode’ last, which seems consistent with your description. So my guess is the...

Thread 'Tayda UV Print Tool Final Update Gloss Testing'

Thanks, I did do that. What threw me a bit was that after clearing the form, the box near the top still says "Done! Data added". But that's the menu button to load the file. When I clicked that box, it immediately went to open a file at my last location. Or maybe I did that incorrectly?
I just quickly experimented with the BOM tool and that's pretty amazing also. The format is great. The only comment I have is that I wasn't sure how to 'clear' the form in order to upload another build document. I had to fumble around a bit. (Certainly could just be operator impatience...)
A couple comments:
It might be helpful to note on the tick box for the gloss layer that this will create a "-V" (high gloss) layer (and not the "-M" matte gloss layer that Tayda also offers.)
It does look like there's a loss of resolution on the .PDF compared to the .PNG that I imported. I...
I think you're right. I looked at the build doc quickly, so might be missing something, but it says if you're using 2SK117s then you need to 'flip' them and shift them over. Your pic looks like they're not flipped.
Are you sure your transistors are installed in the correct holes on the PCB and in the correct orientation? I know that Aion provides extra connection points to accommodate different transistor configurations. A number of your transistors appear in the alternate locations which I don’t think...
