I built one on vero a while back and the thing that's weird to me is the slight dry tone under the tone. I think it's due to one less gain stage.

It's just one shared speaker output jack so I unplugged the main speaker and plugged the cab direct to the that same jack. It's weird but I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. I've been going back and forth with doing mods on this thing. I found that it either sounds good clean at low volume...

I've only ever used my ears to bias this circuit. I never liked the recommended bias settings.
