I've only ever used my ears to bias this circuit. I never liked the recommended bias settings.

Damn, I can't believe you were able to salvage that transformer! The last time I tried to do that it was a no go since those things are so sensitive.

Does orientation of the transformer matter for the octaclave? I just want confirmation before I install it.

The sag circuit definitely works. The higher the threshold knob is set the easier it sags.

Still waiting for parts and the drill template so I haven't gotten to it yet.
