I build the Golden Falk, and gave it away. With my Vox it was a bit bass heavy. I am expecting something different with this one. And maybe I might try the Subdecay Variac after this one
I am serious. I really need to get started with measering but more important, I need to understand those measurements.

I build serveral pedals with jfets and with some I was lucky. But some not. As Chuck says: Jfets are not plug and play: And not just the bias:

He made one connection from jack to powerpack to Jack and pulled it through a ground connection on the pcb and soldered at the ground in the middle on the pcb.
He pulled the positive through a ground connection as well to solder it at the positive.
I paid that amount in the 90's for a hotbox.
Eventually sold it because I kept turning knobs to get rid of the bees in a can sound it had with my ac30 in TB channel.
But every new pedal I build I keep playing the songs and riffs from that time to see if it is capable to hit the benchmark that is...
