Excuse me, what do you mean with "adapter"? A new PSU? I did it immediately, after the wire broken. But seen the problem is just the cable, and this PSU is always been a very good silent one, I would like to repair it. :)

I'm built the original transistor version one month ago on veroboard, just the board. Probably I'll include the Aion three way switch to put in parallel to C5 (original schematic above) 6.8nF other caps, and maybe also a bass cut switch. Very nice this op-amp version!

Hello guys. I have this old Boss power supply. It's been very good for years to supply in an easily way some pedals in daisy chain without any issue. But the cable is damaged, now. Any idea or trick about how I can to repair it? I cant open up the chassis because the uncommon hexagonal screws...

Is it just me or in the schematic above C1 cap should be in series with the Tone pot across the ground to work like the one in the guitars? Now those are in parallel, I think the tone pot will work like a volume pot.

Why that design for the tone pot? That is not the classic guitar tone control.
