UV templates are complex enough to me that I would be hesitant to not use a computer to make them. My suggestion would be to get creative with manual artwork. A lot of folks have made some beautiful pedals with spray paint and paint markers.

I cannot seem to figure out how to avoid burning/melting insulation when off board wiring, and you get it right up to the joint! Always impressed with your builds!
