I’ve got a paragon build all finished up and have found myself enjoying the paragon mini more than the paragon. I wanted to try and omit the charge pump in the paragon to see if running it at 9v would make a difference. What do I need to do to accomplish this? Is it as easy as taking the charge...
I am also noticing that no matter what I do, R16 is measuring around 48k ohms when I’ve made sure it’s a 100k ohm resistor. R30 is measuring the correct 100k value. Not sure if this is supposed to be the case but I’ve tried everything I know how to do and can’t figure it out.
So I finished up my second Paragon Mini build the other day and it went much smoother than my first attempt however the result was not the same haha. Channel one works perfectly and everything sounds great but when I engage channel two I get absolutely no sound at all. Both LEDs work and I get...
I may have figured it out. If I use this wiring diagram I should be able to follow the wiring diagram for the order switcher breakout board using the bypass breakout boards.
Im looking to hand wire a 3PDT footswitch to work as an order switcher in a dual overdrive I am making. I have the 3PDT breakout boards for the effects footswitches but do not have the breakout board for the order switcher because they are currently out of stock. Could anyone explain/show me how...
Looking to fit 3 pedals into one enclosure. Specifically, the Cleaver, Son of Ben Preamp, and the Simulcast. I was hoping to be able to get it all shoved into a 1590XX enclosure but wanted to see if anyone had any past experience with something like this or any size recommendations for a similar...
Got someone wanting me to build them a pedal with a purple/violet led. What has been everyone’s experience with this color led and the best resistor value for this color that’s not too bright? Also, any recommendations for where to get this color led? I normally buy from tayda but they don’t...
I’m interested in building this Katana clone and wanted to know if there’s a way to implement the treble cut switch that the katana mini has. I normally use that switch with my katana mini to fatten up my strat single coils. Is there a way to do this with the cleaver?
Is there a particular size heat shrink that would be best for 3mm leds? Reading through different forums seems to be pointing me toward 1/8 or 1/4 inch. Any specific recommendations?
I’m just getting into pedal building and have really enjoyed it so far. Was wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks to make mounting the on/off leds easier and more reliable. I’ve ran into the led leads touching together multiple times due to them bending out of place when trying to line them...
