I use sockets for my ICs but wasn't aware of sockets for diodes or resistors 😵‍💫

I'd like to but I'm not great at removing and replacing tiny components.

I'm building the Six String Stinger pedal and trying to decide whether to use the indicated in5817 diode or sub in a germanium D9K or D9G. I have all three on hand and can't decide. Any suggestions? I used germanium on my Zen Drive and really like it. I'm using Fairchild jfet j201s. Thanks I

I have my Blue Shoe build just about finished and I would like some advice on how to set the jfets to 9 volts while the pedal is powered up. I haven't been able to find a video that helps. I would appreciate some instruction. Thanks

I finished my Mahayana pedal and it sounds great BUT the noise floor is a bit excessive. I've read where this circuit is prone to this. Do you have any suggestions for fixes or know what the source is? Thanks

My OPA 2134 IC from Stompbox parts came to badly smashed. I hope they replace it.

I fixed R102 ..... Still not working. When I touch the PCB on bottom of stomp switch it hums and occasionally pops. Could be a solder short on the poles beneath the PCB? LED still works and the bypass is fine.
