I ditch the flat washer and just use the nut on top. Lock washer goes goes on the inside, natch.

R23 is just below the B100K Boost pot. Here's a pic of a jumper in this location. The Boost pot at minimum is now unity volume. Thanks for the tip @Robert!

Based on the recommendation above, I pulled the 33n at C17 and installed a socket. Plugging a 82n into this location brought the low end back to the vibrato signal. Thanks @phi1!

So far I've tried D9B, BAT41, and 1N5817. I also have 1N4148, 1N914, 1N4001, and various LED's in my stash. Thanks for the tip about leaky diodes. I'll have to test my D9B's and see where they stand.

I'm very happy with my Fordoble build, but for the life of me I can't hear a difference between the settings on the Grit switch. I have the Ge diodes socketed and tried different arrangements and different diodes, but no luck. Other build reports indicate that the difference between settings...

Digging this back up to see if the OP was able to beef up the bass in the Caesar at all. I find that my build also cuts bass in a noticeable way, especially when it's on full wet / vibrato mode.

Slight thread drift, but using a nut as a support to push out pins is brilliant. Holding a socket in my fingers while I try to push with pliers hurts so much... no more!
