    PedalPCB Rockman?

The PedalPCB "Proposition Distortion" will get you partway there, distortion side anyway. My "as-builts" were never finished enough to share, but I did a two stripboard versions of parts of the circuit. I would like breadboard another version putting together some ideas/circuits from this...

    C-Three-PO'D

Thank you @Chuck D. Bones for providing the strip board layout for this (if I did this correctly the link is: C3PO ). The cocked wah part caught my interest, but I saw those LED lenses in my parts bin and knew what I had to do, even with my limited artistic ability. I increased the board size...

A Can of Worms for the Emu

I agree with @swelchy, it is not easy to line everything up to build the Emu. I was able to use solid wire (diode lead clippings) to attach the footswitch board to the main board, which helped stabilize the lower slider switches a little better. Looks like I should have dusted the black paint...

    MiniMe Plus & Caesar Chorus

Lack of time is my problem now to do anything pedal related for more than a couple minutes at a time. The Mini-Me really does sound great with the clean 1 & 2 Rockman EQ's, but I haven't had time to do a similar test with the Caesar. I also just ordered a couple Lumberg jacks to try in a...

    MiniMe Plus & Caesar Chorus

Two Chorus builds. GuitarPCB's Mini-Me with Wilkie's "roto-tone flangery" mod and rate cut mod (I believe per @Cybercow ?) to try to get into Rockman chorus territory. Everything fit in the box OK, but I should have either moved the boards slightly lower or used a deeper box than a standard...

Muffler Noise Gate (Long - and Poll!)

Ditto on the fizzy crackle thing when you let a note decay and the gate clamps, tried several different op amps and Ebay sourced used/sketchy 2N5485's, it otherwise seems to work

(Another) Headphone Amp Combo-with Condor Cab Sim

Thanks Chuck, it is easy enough to keep the board power on, but I will need to figure out something for the LED indicator, probably just switch the LED ground like a typical stomp switch. I plan to build another similar headphone combo, so great timing so I can avoid the popping problem there...

(Another) Headphone Amp Combo-with Condor Cab Sim

Obviously not an original idea, but thanks to others that inspired me with similar builds, namely the "Marriage Keeper." I was going for knob / switch symmetry using a 1590XX enclosure, but the board geometries didn't make it easy. The trade-off was to twist the inside a little. I'm slowly...

Can someone help me with running two LEDs in a pedal?

I also just found out the hard way, the two LEDs in parallel need to be the same color / have a similar forward voltage to work without adding a secondary branch resistor. I had a blue LED and red LED in parallel, red came on but the blue didn't. Red has a lower forward voltage (approx. 1.9V)...

Rockman X100 Hi N' Dry - Stripboard DIY

Many thanks again to @Cybercow, @VivekMEHTA, @caspercody, @JTEX, everyone on this forum, and other DIY pedal forums who shared information on this circuit....a trip back to the 1980's. The blue Hi N' Dry is my second attempt at building the front end of the X100. A long process with numerous...

    Volume mod Can of Worms

Did anyone find a more workable value for R15? After seeing the YouTube demo for the original, I had to order one of these boards. Hoping to get some serious AIC tone out of it.

Rockman X100 Rev. 10 Schematic Release

My pedal building “rabbit hole” started with seeing someone on Youtube building the “Mockman.” Back when I started my first real job, I had the opportunity to buy a new Rockman X100, but settled on the Hot Watt II, which was lost to the sands of time. Now 20 some pedals later including the...
