I agree with @swelchy, it is not easy to line everything up to build the Emu. I was able to use solid wire (diode lead clippings) to attach the footswitch board to the main board, which helped stabilize the lower slider switches a little better. Looks like I should have dusted the black paint before taking the photo, but it looks better in person. Not sure it would be my favorite distortion, but it has lots of options. My favorite part about the Can of Worms is the "sloppy" paint job that didn't turn out too bad - wet sanded bare enclosure + water slide + carefully applied random paint splotches + clear + mustard yellow knobs. I wish I could play like AIC to get it to sound like AIC, but it is in the sonic neighborhood.
