I'm from the Netherlands.. we don't do hotdogs.
We have "Knakworst op een bolletje met Mayo" or Frankfurters from the Aldi.
So therefore in can't add any usable Hotdog related info.
Sorry..
I wonder.. would he, Mr. chairfairy (I degraded his rank.. well.. he did himself to be honest) go on to the aion forum now and spill his guts about Pedalpcb?
Anyone here also a member on the aion forum and found him there?
I was just curious...
I also use an boxcutter knife, sand the corners round, the sides flat.
Often stick it on a piece of upside down painters tape 50mm wide and spraypaint it black matt.
Just for looks.
I like black, but any colour is better than the colour of the veroboard itself.
I don't know exactly what the "proper" way is to engage/disengage a footswitch.
But in most broken footswitches i've opened the plastic/nylon slider was snapped in 2 or more pieces, or the contacts were bent causing intermitting in the signal
If this is caused by excessive/forcefully stomping on...
I got a similar issue with a Shrapnel (thorpy gunshot) I've build.
When a note sustained and decayed slowly a sort of silent crackling appeared a then the note just stopped like it's beeing cut off suddenly.
I was a bad (fake) opa2134.
Swapped a tl072 in it's place.. problem gone.
I can't...
