For what it's worth, Moog replied to me saying they have ordered 10 from their supplier, but 5 are spoken for, so if you get in touch with them they might have a few available (that was yesterday though).

For what it's worth, this one sounded great with the regular cheap ceramic cap in C3 (I did have an MLCC 470 for C4 though). My friend is very happy with it

You solder the socket to the PCB, then just place your IC into the socket. Great for changing out ICs in cases where options matter and for troubleshooting. I'm sure most of us have been where you are before too, don't worry. Slow and steady. Going forward, just be sure to double check part...

Interesting timing! I just built my first synth/effect kit using a Daisy Seed (the Synthux Academy Simple Touch 2) which has a bunch of open source firmware options that I'm curious to play with and see if I can adapt to specific use cases, etc. I'll follow along at the very least
