This is awesome. I've started planning out my build (that I started thinking about and bugging @CanadianDave about a year ago). Did either of you put together a BOM? I started but realized maybe there is a good one out there already
Yeah, I have definitely been making my own for some components but figured this would be something someone here specifically would have since its a common component in pedalpcb designs specifically.
Anyone have a symbol/footprint for the latching relays used for the relay bypass circuits? I have found other DPDT relay ones but non that actually match the 10-pin/latching versions.
I did get this working well but it's not on my board right now. I forget the value that i ended up swapping for but I think it was less than 330K.
Also one thing I remember is to make sure you test with the cover on/in darkness as these LDRs are very effected by ambient light.
I regularly have a strong desire to add an expression input to builds but always find it difficult mainly because shoving a switched TRS jack impossible for space reasons. Anyone have any tips or ideas for different jacks that would work?
I'm trying to read and understand more schematics. Looking at the Spirit Box - why are there regulators for each the pt2399 and the Belton Brick when they're both L05/5V? Why not tie them to the same rail? I'm guessing there's something simple I'm missing here so I'd love to know!
Anyone have a good copy of the madbean library? Looks like the forum and links are down. I just started diving into KiCad this weekend and this seems like just what I need.
Finally picked this up again after a while and was able to figure it out. I reflowed all the joints and after probing around for connectivity found that there was a missing/bad ground connection on one of the LFO transistors.
Hey All! I made a promise to myself that I would get through my backlog of half working/unfinished pedals before I spent any more money on parts so ... (I'm sure I'm not the only one here)
I started this Super Heterodyne months ago but it wasn't working right off the bat and I didn't have the...
Hey! That was it - I replaced the 2n7000 and boom, full volume and gain. thanks @music6000 for the help :) Still need to figure out the LED but guessing that's just a jumper too.
OK, I tried this and yes, without the jumper the 9v does not make it to the rest of the circuit. The rest of the continuity tests passed and I'm getting 9v at all the blue circles. The LED for the bypass switch also doesn't work, but not sure if that's related.
