    Tips for PCB design?

I am not at all an expert here but I've laid out between 35-50 boards and none had the problems you've described (besides some hiss on circuits that are described as noisy in the original pedal). I make mistakes but it's usually mislabeled components or poorly sized footprints. I basically...

Do you have the build guide for the Tonitrus?

    Dylan159 Pelota2: "Grackle Delay"

Nothing seems more Texas than grackles and HEBs. There's some very mechanical-sounding birds. Red-winged blackbirds are really mechanical. Starlings sound like aliens.

    Dylan159 Pelota2: "Grackle Delay"

This is a report on my build of Dylan159's Pelota2, using a board from @szukalski. You can find Szukalski's gerber here. I made this pedal about a year ago and thought I'd already posted a build report, then realized it was missing. Here you go! Inspiration With a delay pedal, I wanted to...

Purple Chorus (Analog Bi Chorus) board for sale anywhere?

No update recently. As Cybercow mentioned, he and I have been looking at this, I've double-checked the schema, the layout, the components - and I'm not sure what's going on. If I could sit down for a day and really dig into it I might be able to figure it out, but I haven't had the time. If I...

Spaceman Saturn V: "Saturnine Antshrike Boost" (w/Gerber)

This is a report on my build of a Spaceman Saturn V. You can find the gerber here. Inspiration I knew I wanted a retro-futuristic style for this pedal - like a Flash Gordon/Tom Swift or Queens/Seattle World's Fair style. For this batch of pedals I granted myself permission to start using some...

Trembling Satellite: "Pacific Loon Tremolo" (w/Gerber)

No, I just wanted my PCBs to look a little unique (similar to Moonn PCBs, but less chaotic). I figured the sawtooth edges worked well to represent the volume oscillations of the tremolo :).

Trembling Satellite: "Pacific Loon Tremolo" (w/Gerber)

This is a report on my build of Dylan159's "Trembling Satellite," a version of the DIY classic Tremulous Lune. You can find the gerber here. Inspiration Well, this is a pretty obvious one, isn't it? For a circuit based on "Lune," the pedal has to be a "Loon." I always liked loons, although I...

    Trombetta Mini-Bone: "Trumpeter Swan Fuzz"

This is a report on my build of the Paul Trombetta Mini-Bone (on PedalPCB as the Trumpeter, but I laid out my own PCB for this build). I saw this in one of the "favorites" threads... and it is now one of my favorites. Inspiration This is one of the most obvious names for a pedal, since I saw...

    Laser cutters and 3D printers

On occasion, I've seen y'all talking about 3D printing and laser cutting/engraving things. I'm curious if you have any recommendations for either machine. I'm interested in getting into both, but more interested in designing things than in mucking around with getting the machines themselves...

    Even more new Tayda colors!

I definitely haven't seen metallic black before... I have just the pedal for it in my next order. There have been a few champagne colors, but none that looked like that. I really like both of these.

    Poison Apple: "Snow Bunting Autowah"

This is a report on my build of the Poison Apple Auto-Wah, based on the Mad Professor Snow White. I wanted to build some pedals that weren't just overdrives and fuzzes, so I picked this up. Inspiration I liked the snow white name of the original pedal and wanted to play on that - and buntings...

    Dudson Narrowcast: "White-Throated Overdrive" (w/gerber)

Good catch. I've fixed the github page.

    💖 Stay Alive ✨ Top Five of '25 💖

My 2024 favorites were the Dung Beetle, Low Tide Mini, Chop Shop, 6-Band Eq, FunBox. Any of these could easily be in my list this year, but many of them drifted off my board or didn't see as much use this year. We'll see if some make their way back. I think I built around 35 pedals this year...
