    Trombetta Mini-Bone: "Trumpeter Swan Fuzz"

I get 90% of my stuff at Tayda. PCBs mostly from PPCB or fabricated from JLC. Occasional parts from stomp box, mouser, or love my switches. Shipping is always expensive except JLC. Tayda shipping used to be cheap but I haven't bought recently. It helps to buy in bulk.

Pot and Kettle Pro Overdrive: "Chickadee Overdrive"

This is a report on my build of the Snouse Blackbox Overdrive 2 Stage Pro Mod [deep breath], or Pot and Kettle Pro. I heard a few people recommending this pedal so figured I'd try it out. Inspiration OK, bear with me. I really wasn't sure about what to name this thing. The Pot and Kettle...

    Cannon Fodder MkII: "Toucannon Superdistorter"

I didn't. I used a .22u and .47u film cap wired together. Their voltage rating is super high and you can always swap in unpolarized caps for polarized of the same value, if I understand correctly.

    Dragon's Breath: "Snake Eagle Boost"

This is a report on my build of the Catalinbred Naga Viper, or Dragon's Breath Boost. As with the Acapulco Gold I posted recently, this was one of my very first builds. It was on some lists of people's favorites and it's an incredibly simple circuit. Inspiration I went off the original Naga...

    Cannon Fodder MkII: "Toucannon Superdistorter"

No. Unfortunately, I had this printed at a time when I was doing all my own drilling by hand.

    EQD Acapulco Gold: "Acapulco Goldfinch"

I regret to inform you that I already did a RAT, although I put a Harrier on it (with a RAT). I probably will do a pigeon pedal though. I have two PCBs to test that both have different pigeon names, though no enclosure designed. They're on Tayda in a few colors (example). I wasn't sure how...

    EQD Acapulco Gold: "Acapulco Goldfinch"

This is a report on my build of the EQD Acapulco Gold. This was one of my very first builds, and I've now built several. I started with the PPCB El Sol Distortion, but ended up making my own PCB for this one. I saw this in some "favorites" lists when I first started and I think this might still...

    Tube Bender: "Buffalo-Weaver Overdrive" (w/gerber)

I made another one of these for sale, including the border and shift label. It's definitely better than before, but still not quite what I wanted - the border is a little too black rather than being a brownish. Maybe if I get a third one made :)

Quality of Life improvements for bulk builds?

This thread has inspired my to get pre-cut wires. Will see how AliExpress works - my part orders from them got cancelled and never delivered. I think push-on knobs tend to look uglier, and my supply of pots is partly 6mm and partly 6.35mm. I have seen some knob positioning tools that at least...

Quality of Life improvements for bulk builds?

I've started making a modest number of pedals for sale at a local guitar store - dropping off 3-4 at a time. I'm doing this to basically try to break even on the hobby, use up spare boards and parts, etc. I really enjoy soldering, and don't mind placing resistors, capacitors, ICs, transistors...

Home-Wrecker Nurse Quacky: "Ms Mallard Filter" (w/gerber)

Since this is a pretty simple build, and it's not just another fuzz/overdrive, I figured I'd try to sell some at a local music store. This gave me a chance to make a few of the tweaks I wanted. This is what I ended up with, and I'm pretty happy with it, though I think I might change the name to...

    Mid-Fi Clarinot: "Reedhaunter Fuzz Delay"

I've been making a few of these to sell at a local music store, since it's a pretty unique-sounding pedal, and I started tweaking the fonts a bit. I ended up with the design below, which I'm pretty happy with.

    Tube Bender: "Buffalo-Weaver Overdrive" (w/gerber)

    I should visit Australia again

    Tube Bender: "Buffalo-Weaver Overdrive" (w/gerber)

This is a report on my build of the Tube Bender, a circuit that was first published by Dan Coggins in Guitar Magazine, in 2003, and which I think received some changes to become the Dinosaural Tube Bender. You can find the gerbers here. Inspiration For this pedal I went with an allegory based...

    Electrovibe Mini: "Uni-Vibe-Reo"

I put it onto my pedalboard in the effects loop, and did some testing. There was no difference in tone whatsoever after two different types of muff, a harmonic boost, a KoT, a Sweet Honey and a Bluesbreaker clone (I didn't muck around with settings much so this is really contextual). Basically I...
