I'll preface this by stating my electrical/circuit knowledge is still very limited—I'm basically building Legos here; following directions and enjoying the pleasant surprise anytime the LED lights up after housing a finished PCB. But I was looking at the Fuzz Foundry (original, not the deluxe)...

How is the volume? Looks like the pcb has been modified a bit, but a number of people mentioned low volume issues and trouble reaching unity with earlier builds.

Problem solved. I had bollocksed up the biasing (sag pot was not closed). Fixed, and now everything is firing correctly and sounds fantastic.

Hhhmmm…then I’ve got some troubleshooting to do. The drive (top right) isn’t increasing the gain regardless of where the sag is, but the sag (bottom) cuts the volume completely when it’s turned all the way down, regardless of where drive is.

Question about the redesign of the Chop Shop circuit and new pot arrangement. I read on another thread that the pots in the new circuit are now arranged Volume / Drive on top, Sag on the bottom. I just finished my build, though, and it sure seems like it’s working Volume / Sag on top, Drive on...

Just confirming that the new trim pots are 50k, correct? (The printing is a little squiggly on my board 🙂)
