I did have the backplate off at the time.
I should also mention it does not seem to make this noise when plugged into my 2 amplifiers, but this recording was direct in to my interface for testing, and could be related to my monitors. My other pedals have never made this sound so could this just...

So this is a build I'm working on. It's a 2-in-1. The signal starts at a 3PDT order switch before heading to the 2 independent circuits. This whine can be heard both in bypass and especially when engaged. I...
$115.64 order incurred $33.02 in "tariff included shipping" via DHL. "Tariff included and all fees are paid, you won't pay anything more, DHL 2 to 4 Business Days Delivery."
Thoughts on Tom Morello's original Crybaby? He refers to it as "early 80s," but it appears to have a DC jack input. Could be a mod? In the years since he's been photographed with a "Crybaby Classic" and of course his new signature wah, but I've always been curious about the OG. Which inductors...
Ahh yeah you're right! I built the Aion Emerald which is the three knob PH-1r but with an additional volume knob making it four knobs and my wires got crossed.
You know how something like a phase 90 or the BOSS PH3 requires a matched set of 4 JFETs for the phasing? How are these companies going about matching all these JFETs for their thousands and thousands and thousands of phase pedals made and sold? Even in the early days when they weren't as...
Sorry for the somewhat elementary question, but if I wanted to forego using a pot on a pcb, and just wire the pads so it's as if the pot is always turned all the way down to 0, how would I go about that?
I'm pretty sure he's stacking the Animato with the Big Muff. Although with his rig of 3 amps in parallel, it's possible one amp was clean, one was the animato, and one was the big muff all together.
His Big Muff of choice is the Black Russian version, tone set nearly on full.
No it seems like the Grey Channel is two DOD 250s in a box, with clipping options. The Aphelion is only one 250, with clipping options AND a Treble cut switch.
Just out of curiosity how badly did the mjt finish chip around your routing job? I'm planning a build where I'll have to do some additional pickup routing, but I wont have a pickguard or rings to hide any severe defects; just direct mount. It will be mjt finished as well.
