Worked like a charm. Just ommited D5 and connected the anode of the bicolor LED to the + on D4 pad. Ran the cathodes to the footswitch. Ground of D4 to ground on footswitch. Just needed to jumper the SW1 pads on the board and we are off and running. Used a trimpot for the overall LED brightness...

Update: Turns out the THAT module had the wrong opamps on it. Robert helped me get squared away so now I have a working gate! LED is not changing to red but as long as we are gating that noise I'm happy.

Interesting. I did initially install the 5k6 in r21 and r22 since I forgot the pre wired LED already had the CLR. So maybe I did something when I pulled both 5k6s. I will check there thoroughly.
