Same old story- I started these a year ago, had a baby, blah blah, they're finally done. Still from my first batch of gold foil no film, which is hard af to photograph. They sound just like my original MIJ HM-2s. I like em. As we say in my house- tight grapes

I had some mild adhesion issues on this first batch. You can see it on the bottom of the outline on the pedal on the right. The gold foil stuff is way harder to get right than the regular no film because it involves making the gold foil design and then sandwiching it to the no film

It's been said here before. If your promethium doesn't sound like the real thing, there's a build error

I've never heard the expression "tight grapes" before. No idea.

The grapes (HM-2s) are so tight together that they're virtually indistinguishable from one another? A mass of grapes so tight they may as well be one entity, ie the same?
