This is my first go at turret board. The Oracle Fuzz (by Monolith) is one of my all time favourite fuzzes, I have one, and as it is a fuzz with not too many parts , this was the obvious choice for me to try turret board, while using "special" parts.
So, large enclosure, all carbon comp resistors, fancy capacitors, large alpha pots, Gorva footswitch and, most importantly, two "NOS Mullard OC76" transistors from Langrex at £6 a piece.
This circuit calls for high gain Ge PNP trannies, hfe 110 and 300, I got even gainier ones, 180 and 390, and it sounds bloody fantastic!!!
Compared to the OG one, it totally nails the sound, although the Color knob has to be set a bit different to sound (pretty much) the same.
Really happy with how this turned out.
