Greetings all! I am not sure if I ever shared my weird relationship with the guitar. I love it but like many lazy people, I hate practicing!
I think pedals saved it. I came across (yeah right, I googled pedals and pcbs and youtube put pedal related content in my feed) a channel called the PedalZone. What I appreciate about this Dane's content is he is dedicated to making the guitar sound like something it's not and do it beautifully.
I can make the guitar sound like something it's not horribly. To that end I noticed a lot of lo-fi tape like effects out on the market. I tried to accomplish that using a levitation reverb into a shallow water into a sherwood overdrive. The order is backwards and that is on purpose. What's not done on purpose is me labeling mix twice on the reverb. D'OH!
