Can i add Expression input to Arachnid pot?

Hi all! So here's an interesting one for the Archanid: what if you wanted to include an expression pedal input to control the pot value instead of potentiometer? Can i use this diagram on Archanid PCB?

Yes, that will work.

You might want to use a low value resistor (100 - 220 ohms) instead of the wires connecting to pot pads 1 and 3 of the PCB, just to protect the 3.3V regulator from overcurrent when plugging / unplugging the expression pedal.

This will not protect the FV-1 from ESD or overvoltage however, so be sure you don't plug anything into the expression jack that supplies more than 3.3V.

if i want to use expernal tap tempo exp pedal , should i wire the momentary to tip and sleeve or ring and sleeve ?
