Most popular PCB’s?

New to effects pedals, but not new to soldering electronics. There are too many choices and options and don’t know where to start.

What are the most popular DIY pedals to build? Not concerned with complexity. Looking to get PCB’s from PedalPCB or Aion to start and then venture onto using perf board.

It's odd that I can't find any thread like this. Didn't exactly know where to put it, but here was my best guess--please feel free to move it to a more appropriate location. I thought this might spark some discussion and interest in a range of boards and pedals and give direction to folks wondering what else to build. I'm genuinely curious to know what people consider to be their "top five," especially from among the older boards.

It also depends on the type of effect you're looking for. The most popular category on any site is dirt style by far. But there are others: modulation, boost, compressors, etc.
