I was thinking the same thing, but I believe the Hammertone is transistor based. The Hello Kitty is opamp based according to Fender.

I saw people online saying that the hammertone fuzz is also listed as being opamp based, but I’m not finding any actual ad copy that claims that

Did you get one?! My niece is a budding guitar player and AVID HK fan, sold out right away on the Fender site.

They’re still available thru all of the typical retailers. Unfortunately the white one was a fender web exclusive so it probably won’t be available again, but the pink one is available at Sweetwater, GC, etc

The pink one is sold out at Sweetwater (and listed has been removed) and the Fender website.

GC still has them, and a few are left on Reverb.

It's way gnarlier than I expected - a really gated kind of sputtery fuzz.

I just came across the H'lo Kittayyy 50th Anniversary Collection today, saw and wanted the fuzz (I collect cat-themed pedals) then come here to find I'll soon be able to build my own!



The white Strat is nice, but I was disappointed the collection doesn't include a BASS.

This does appear to be the case. I'm assuming HT Fuzz_V2.5 refers to the Hammer Tone Fuzz.

No component values yet, I'll post them as soon as I get them measured.

Definitely looks like a rebadged Hammertone Fuzz without the octave, which in turn appears to be loosely based on the Pelt.

Yes, that's definitely the octave circuit that isn't populated.

I didn't trace it but I suppose I could... we won't know the values though, so I'd still have to get my hands on a Hammertone to measure them.
