Muroidea seems to ground out…

Hello! It appears that my Muroidea grounds out when I plug the in/out and engage the pedal. When it’s disengaged - it’s clean as can be! Attached is a picture for the eagle eyed viewers. I believe I’m wired tip - in and ring - ground. When I wired it tip - in / sleeve - ground it when apoplectic. I know they are the “wrong” pots but I ordered a significant amount of them from Tayda and can’t use anywhere else. I am wondering if it’s a grounding issue. On the back of the pcb

Might be a problem with that metal frame DC jack. Pedal power is center negative, positive on the outside of the barrel.

Some of those metal jacks ground out the positive sleeve of the barrel connector.

Any type where the part that touches the enclosure is plastic should work.

I like these personally.

Thanks! I hate paying Jeff b. But I’ll have 10 tomorrow…. I should be able to plug it in and check the rest of the circuit while it’s in the air though, right?
