Day Dream buGGFX no sound

Hello, a while back I finished building the Day Dream pedal. It wasn't doing anything at all at first untill I found out I had all the IC's (except for the FV-1) the wrong way around. After turning them around, still nothing, so I decided to order a new eeprom and new tl072's. After switching them I am now left with the circuit where the volume and dry/wet seem to be working, but there is no effect happening. I'm thinking I must have fried my FV-1 but I'm not sure. Is this where the actual effect is made? I am not sure what to do, please help!

Post some pics of you build. Both sides of the board please. We might see something you're not.

Connect a jumper wire from this point to ground, this will activate the internal effects of the FV-1.

If this gives you an effected signal there's an issue with the EEPROM.

dont mind the molten capacitor and the improvised 100k resistor

Do you have 3.3v on the positive side of C16?

not its at 0.74, could the regulator be broken? the right leg of the regulator is also giving 0.74 volts?

That would pose itself as a problem and render the fv-1 non-functional
It could be the reg, or it could be something dragging down the regulator

Yes! they have the little rubber pads underneath and between eachother.

so i audio probed pin 1 and 2 of the fv1 and the signal is coming in. Then I checked pin 28 and it's the exact same just lower in volume, no wet signal....

yep the regulator is bad, gonna switch it out and see what it does!
