Funny little boxes binge- Stone Age, can of Worms and Plaid Preamp

If you didn’t know, these circuits are Funny Little Boxes’ attempt to recreate several grunge/alternative best sounds. Stone Age emulates Queens of the Stone Age, Can of Worms is Alice In Chains and Plaid Preamp is Pearl Jam.

I really enjoyed these pedals and they did a great job finding the right tone for the artists. The builds are straightforward and parts are easy to find.

All 3 look great, but having seen Pearl Jam 19X, I am partial to the Plaid. Plus the all black thing looks cool.

The graphic work is really great. From those three, Can of Worms and Plaid Preamp are still on my to do list.

These look great! I didn't realise there were PCBs available.

I've actually just ordered the Caught By The Fuzz pedal direct from FLB, it looks ace. Maybe I could have just built one

Haha! I don’t think I am proficient enough to make it sound anything like AIC or a fentanyl haze!
