Not much to say about this, other than it's full of amazing sounds and loud as fuuuu...

This was a commission for someone wanting a modified take on the DBA Thee Ffuzz Warr Overload. He wanted the boost to be louder and bigger, and the Aft was perfect for the job. I used a Tesla KFY46 with an hfe of 98, as we weren't impressed by any of the germaniums I demoed for him, but wanted to still give it some mojo

The Bellum is built to the doc, except I used 1N4729a as that's what I had on hand.

The Zapper is stock.

We also decided to put order switchers between the fuzz and boost, and the filter and fuzz/boost group

Its not one I would have come up with, but it's a ton of fun. The Bellum surprised me as I'm usually not too into transistor Muffs, but this one checks off most of what I look for in a dirt pedal. And, I've never been one for clean boosts, but the Aft is pretty awesome. I favor the treble boost mode, but both sound great.
The Zapper will zap ya with its Zappa . Its a great, simple filter. Not too wild, but incredibly versatile

I was just looking at the zapper again last night. I built the systech overdrive a year ago and loved it. I still need to build me a zapper. I need to check and see if I bought that pcb already… pretty sure I have one somewhere.
