SOLVED Hybrid Yellow Tonebender stripboard build: tone pot weirdness

I breadboarded and then built a Yellow Hybrid Tonebender clone on stripboard based on this Dirtbox Layouts page. It seemed to be working fine on the breadboard, but now that I built it on stripboard something seems off with the "tone"/"treble-bass" knob. At full CCW/treble side it sounds good, but after around 11:00 it starts to get quite muffled sounding and loses a considerable amount of volume as I turn clockwise.

Changes from the schematic: I changed R11 from 220k to 470k to get the Q3 collector voltage close to 2.6V, and I changed C9 in the tone section from 100nF to 47nF.

I've verified all the resistor/cap values, looked for shorts, checked that cuts+jumpers seem to be in the right spots, and re-flowed everything. Any suggestions on places that I should be looking next? Thanks guys

Maybe here? Based on the schematic, if you've got something wrong when tone is cranked clockwise, it implicates C10/R15. If C10 is bridged it turns the RC high-pass filter into an R no-pass filter :-)
