“Up, Down, Daddy!” / Pearl OC-07

Okay, so it turned out that v0.1 had a mistake that's probably too embarrassing to admit to, but v0.2 has been
delivered and built and seems to work! It sounds neat, very doom-y with the lower octaves turned up.
I don't really play guitar so sorry, no demo :-P. But it does seem to make interesting noises!

I'm going to build out 2 of the 5 for my nephews (the whole reason I build these things in the first place!) so there are 3 of them up
for grabs if you're interested. I think the cost will be about $25 shipped. They ended up pretty expensive w/ all of the
'extended' parts + 4 layer boards, plus the stupid, stupid tariffs.

I'll hand-solder the 2 JFETs (they were out of stock at jlcpcb but We Have JFETs At Home) before I ship them out, and throw
in the footswitch daughterboard.

I've also posted the gerbers / bom / CPL here, linked at the bottom of the info doc:

Thanks a ton! I always love it when people share gerbers, even if they're not something I personally would use.

FWIW it comes out to around $80 (so 89€ with taxes) or so for 5 pieces for me on the cheapest shipping, so not really worthwhile by itself for me, but if there's interest in a group order in the EU I might be interested - maybe to some other country with lower VAT, even?

Do you know what's up with this trimmer in the preview? It seems off, but not sure if that's some visual issue or what is up with that.

Ah - yeah sometimes the components do dumb things and get rotated. My upload/export plugin corrects some of the rotations automatically but doesn't always catch everything. You can select it and then rotate it w/ the space bar until it sits right. Make sure you check the orientation of other stuff, too, I find the SOT-23 and SOT-89s sometimes get turned 180 degrees. I can also see that the polarized cap in that preview is backwards :-( I'll see if I can correct those rotations and re-up the CPL, I'll ping the thread if I do.

I see, yeah, from what I can see it was just those two components and was easy to fix.
