Ghost echo and tape delay builds

Couple of builds I finished today .

The first is a ghost echo on stripboard. I made a couple of minor mods recommended to achieve unity gain and increase the oscillation effect. I’m very happy with both the aesthetic and the sound! I know Belton brick reverbs can get a bad knock but I think it sounds great.

The second is the tape delay mkii by @Aleph Null . My first pcb build for a while but it’s come up super neat & once again sounds great. I am thinking either 6 gold knobs or 3 gold, 3 silver ?

Love the graphics on the tape delay. The only issue I have with those spun aluminium knobs is that it can be hard to see the white indicator mark against the reflections on the top of the knob sometimes. Love My Switches sell some matt finish silver knobs which I love because you can see the indicator mark. Haven't seen them in gold though.

Fair. I haven’t had an issue but could imagine on stage or with the wrong lighting it could definitely be an issue! Love my switches is no good for me, their postage has always been a killer! I tend to to use tayda more often.

I almost added in my post that I haven't bought anything from LMS in ages because of the postage costs. I don't think I've bought much at all from the US this year - it's just too expensive. Tayda is our savior. I wish I could find those knobs somewhere else. I've been using these in various colours:

I use a fine brush and black acrylic paint to repaint them. You don’t even have to be neat; just wipe with paper towel before the paint dries.
