Minnow - S/H Issue

I cannot get the S/H mode on my Minnow working,

I’ve traced the entire circuit with my multimeter, everything is correct with the exception of R32 -> Q3, which I have jumped. I’ve confirmed all connections for +9V, +8V, -9V, an -8V.

My ICs are reliably sourced (LM13700 from PedalPCB, TC1044 and TL072s from Smallbear).

Any ideas? Thanks

Try rotating your 2n5088, if that is what you used in Q3.

Yes I noticed this about 30 seconds after I posted haha

I reversed Q3 (2N5088), Q4, and Q5 (J201s). I am getting a guitar signal in S/H mode but it doesn’t seem to be affected by the filter

Here is the one I just built, I used some T0-92 package J201s.


But you need to make sure your J201pcb boards are oriented correctly as well. Match a TO-92 pinout with the labels on your smd pcbs.
