Show me your vintage pedals.

Got a crazy good deal on this guy on eBay. Came all the way from Georgia to California, and then the post office did me a solid and sent it back to Georgia just to make sure they really meant to send it to me and they did, so they then sent it back to California and now I finally have it...

Sounds crazy! Way more throaty and metallic than the Boss BF2 I have. All the 18v Maxons are reverse polarity which is a bit annoying and confusing to a simpleton like me but this guys definitely worth the trouble.

And the board is insanely packed.

Only a few more to go!

That's the danger of buying wahs/expression pedals... or otherwise acquiring gear ...

I was gifted a Dunlop wah 'cause it wasn't working, and I said to my friend:
"Naw man, it looks in great shape, I'll fix it and you keep it."

I worked on it a couple times, still doesn't wah.

I bought a bass to mod, but once I got it, hmm too nice to mod...

I feel you. I have been wanting to install a sustainer pickup in one of my guitars but I don’t want to mod any of them!

they made these for 12 years but even the newest ones are 20 years old ... got jj long plate 12ax7s in mine. spent a little time with it today and I'm thinking about kicking some pedals off the board to make room
I’ve always wanted one of these since I saw them in stores in the 90’s. And I never got to try one. What does it sound like?

This is the oldest thing I currently have. I bought it in 1989(?) in Boulder CO form someone along with a beat up Cry Baby for $25(?)

I loved this back then better than the Cry Baby. And I liked having a volume pedal in the chain (haha, at that point "the chain" was this and an Arion chorus pedal). At some point it didn't work and it went in the closet. A few years ago I tried it and it worked. But I immediately noticed how it takes a lot of high end off the signal in bypass.

Does anyone know how the current Morley wahs sound in comparison to these old ones?

I didn't know that the 601 EQ came in a "flat panel" version like the other I've been collecting, I've only seen it in the raised stomp version ala modern tubescreamer. So when I saw this one for the first time, along with the original box and manuals I immediately pounced on it. Good Lord it's beautiful. It's in great condition for such an old pedal. Additionally, I read that people don't like this eq because the sliders don't have detents at the 0 mark, they just slide freely. BUT turns out this earlier version DOES, so that's definitely an added bonus.
