Since this is precisely my job I'm going to suggest not buying a printer, and why. I'm intentionally not saying who I print pedals for because I don't want to sound like a shill.
I don't think they are ready for the home market yet.
They are very temperature/humidity/dust/static electricity sensitive. They require daily use and daily maintenance. They require being on a UPS so they can run their prescheduled, automated maintenance, in the event of a power outage. They really don't like it when the power goes out mid print. They don't like sitting for more than a few days unused. When I go on vacation someone has to come in to clean and run a simple job on the printers every other day or they WILL clog. On the "consumer" models, if you get a bad head clog you're going to be out about $800 for the head, replace all the ink on that head, AND you have to do the installation yourself. It's definitely not a click file > print home inkjet/laser type of printer.
If you aren't doing a couple of hours of printing every day, or have a room that you can keep super clean to dedicate to just your printer, it's not worth it.
