Someday I am going to decipher your ground wiring.

He made one connection from jack to powerpack to Jack and pulled it through a ground connection on the pcb and soldered at the ground in the middle on the pcb.
He pulled the positive through a ground connection as well to solder it at the positive.

i replaced R14 with a 1.3K resistor to lower the gain for the distortion since the pedal never cleans up with the stock resistor.

Dude put that one on your list next! It’s the best Marshall in a box on here in my opinion. Read up on it in Chucks Boneyard before you build it though.

You would like it as it has the Marshall Normal Gain & Treble Gain Pots so you can dial in how much Bass or Treble Gain you want to put through the pedal, It has 3 toggle options for JTM, 1987 & 1959

think about what a non-MV marshall is.

they have x2 'channels' - and they can be blended together

- normal channel
- high treble channel

the normal channel has a lot more low end compared to the high treble channel. that's what he means.

I build the Golden Falk, and gave it away. With my Vox it was a bit bass heavy. I am expecting something different with this one. And maybe I might try the Subdecay Variac after this one

It's in the title, "Friedman Motor City Drive"... it was a real pedal, I own one, been discontinued for a while and not even on their website but you can find it if you search.

Exactly!!! This is an emulation of the original pedal... so what I'm looking for is the original schematic, that was obviously used to create this emulation!
Someone must have reversed engineered the pedal to see what was going on... I would just like to see that too.

Are you trying to tell me I can't ask for that?
