Raincoat

[Synchrony Pedalworks]

The BuGGFX Raincoat is @Robert version of a Big Muff. If you are a fan of Muffs, it does not disappoint. It has a nice sustain, but can also growl with the low end. I really liked it with my baritone and it did not get muddy at all. The tone was nice and tight. This big box version was extra special, so many thanks to @Robert for sharing. Also, thanks to @jwin615 for some bougie caps to fit the nice curves on this PCB. This big boi is going to on my board for while....

Nice build and I dig the circuit too

The Raincoat is a killer fuzz and that’s a killer build.

That is sexy as hell!

I need one of these.

This came out fantastic!

Where’d you get the enclosure?

[owlexifry]

You didn’t answer the question lol.

Recently I got out my Acid Rain Fuzz (which is basically a Raincoat with a different tone stack), and it shocked me how LOUD it is. Is yours really loud?

The enclosure was from our esteemed forum host.

No, it has a normal amount of volume on tap.

You could rebias the output stage to tame that. The Kewpie is also hella loud. I don't recall the values off hand, but I'll share them when I'm home.

Is the black thing on the bottom a stomp switch? Where did you get that?

Love My Switches and Tayda Electronics both have them.
FYI: The Tayda ones have a lot of plastic I am not sure about the LMS ones because I have none on hand ATM.
