How do companies print white on dark enclosures?

Linocut or the ordinary rubber stamps... There are plenty of companies that cut stamps with laser. Such services are usually cheap. And there is no problem with small details. There is white ink for plastic/glass/metal (StazOn Opaque White). Here's black ink + rubber stamps.

How do companies print white on dark enclosures?

Below is another example - graphics and letters cut on a plotter in self-adhesive foil + white spray. I made two enclosures this way and I definitely prefer UV printing. Mainly because of durability.

How do companies print white on dark enclosures?

It's quite simple... white ink. For both, screen printing and UV print. And yes, you can do it at home. But it's rather not cost effective for a single pedal. Especially UV print (printer is expensive).

Cast Iron/Lollar Drive - why the second IC?

It doesn't seem like much, but depending on the HIGH and MID settings, the signal level after IC2.2 changes. I think IC2.1 can be treated as a gain recovery stage.

Cast Iron/Lollar Drive - why the second IC?

Maybe they wanted a buffer and there was one OA left to use, so why not... and the difference between using a single OA and a double OA doesn't seem to change much in terms of price/design.

The easiest way to implement a very short delay line / latency to one of two mono channels

Two ways come to my mind - all-pass filter (introduces phase shift of the signal) or a delay with very short time (5-20 ms for example). Headphone amp with stereo simulation (all-pass filter). By the way - phase shift of the all-pass filter is frequency dependent... Shortest delay time for the...

How to open/edit sch schematic files?

If you want to just open the schematic https://inventhub.io/viewer you can upload Altium, Kicad and Eagle files (boards and schematics). Just choose from the menu. by the way - the sch extension is used by several programs. Eagle and Kicad for sure. There will probably be some more. But...

    Plated oblong holes/slots in Eagle

I also used milling layer in my example. But I took the easy way and drew a rectangle :) With custom footprints I always set the pad diameter manually. I dont' use "auto" setting. This is something new to me... In these matters, I prefer object "properties" and entering coordinates...

    Plated oblong holes/slots in Eagle

Calling Eagle freaks... I'm trying to design a fooprint for a slim audio jack. I'd like to use oblong holes/slots instead of ordinary big holes but Eagle does not support oblong holes. I've seen couple of solutions but I couldn't find a clear answer - which method is proven and working. As for...

Where to get EQ pots with center detent?

Pickguard mounted or through the wood? Regular pot is ok for a pickguard but you need a long thread if you want to mount them through the wood. Unless you have really thin cavity wall.
