How did you go with this? Did it work out? Im working on a similar project at the moment.

The 2SK30A-GR seem to have the pinout Source, Drain, Gate, versus the J201, 2n5457 pinout which is Drain, Source, Gate. Are the source and drain interchangeable here or will I need to use a differnet so-23 to to-92 adaptor for this?

With a multimeter, select the mode to measure voltage. Clip the black lead onto ground and touch the red lead onto the pins of the op amp.

Sorry, what do you mean you don't get signal from the drive pot? Have you plugged it in and it works now? Do you mean that the drive pot does not change the way it sounds? Not being rude, just trying to work out what is going on.

Is this true even when you press the switch? You should get audio on one side of r1 but probably not on the other side

Here are some voltages from a clone that I made. Based off the same schematic but I made my own pcb. Just the lfo and the clock bit based on your description I think your problem is here. Maybe you could post you voltages here for all ic and transistors and we can check for you?

I knew I had seen it somewhere. Glad you have it partly going. I have three things I would look at: C5. Is it definitely 22uf? Or is it a 2u2? C6, c7 and c10. What is the code on them? They should say 105. They look smaller than the 1uf caps I use. What is the code on q3? Is it a PN2222 or a...

Your led is on the wrong side of the board. Usually it is on the same side as the knobs. Led not turning off usually means there is a short. Both legs might be touching. Check the board under the led and the foot switch. Do you have a multimeter? That can help find a short quickly

If you could take pictures closer to the board that would be great so we can zoom in to read the stripes on the resistors.

You should start by checking the parts in this area. Make sure the resistors are correct (and not 220 ohm instead of 220k for example). Then check caps etc. It sounds to me me that your lfo isn’t working so the problem will be in the area n the picture.

Hey I think I saw you post this somewhere else. Was it the foot switch wiring that was the problem?

I honestly don't know why it works, (I'm not a theory guy) all I can say is that it does. Here is my tube screamer schematic with a bass control. The bass pot adds quite a lot of bass to the circuit, so much that I had to adjust the tone section to compensate for it.

I would start by increasing c3. That’s what I do on tube screamers.

The voltage on ic3 pin 1 should go up and down depending on where the rate knob is. Does yours fluctuate? Make sure the switch isn’t in the middle position when you try

I would love to know too. I made this on a breadboard and it sounds great. Would love to have this in a wah enclosure.
