Cable for Guitar & Speaker Cabinets

I have to say I notice it the most at the grocery store -- maybe it's because I go once a week and buy practically the same things every week, but my weekly grocery bill is about 60% higher than it was a year ago. EDIT: My salary didn't go up 60%.

Cable for Guitar & Speaker Cabinets

Wang, wong, tomato, tamato, chorus, chorous. It's all the same. If it were my build it would be a Wang because better to have a tiny little mini wang -- otherwise, it's just wong. 🤷‍♂️

Start with the foot switch. :)

SOLVED I’m the worst. Lot lizard

In bypass mode, you wouldn't have continuity, but if you don't have continuity regardless of which way you have the switch thrown, then the switch is your problem. A bad switch could also cause you LED to not light up. As for continuity between the Volume pot and the output, you would expect...

SOLVED I’m the worst. Lot lizard

It might be easier to work backwards - if you're not getting sound at the output, see if you getting sound on pin 2 of C7, then pin1 of C7, then pin 2 of R9 and work your way back through Q4, Q3, Q2, etc.

SOLVED I’m the worst. Lot lizard

Although that doesn't explain why you aren't getting sound at the output pad of the circuit board.

SOLVED I’m the worst. Lot lizard

If you have power to the LED and the LED is good, and you don't have it in backwards, then the problem has to be in the foot switch.

Do you have the schematic. Can you trace along the schematic to see where the signal drops out?

I have to admit that when I read the title, I was expecting a different graphic. Looks awesome.

building a big "dummy box" SCHMORG

I was just checking out your Wavelord build report, which led me to this. The Schmorg is awesome. I love everything about this pedal board.

    MPF102 Substitution

That's exactly why I asked the question to begin with. I know that I can swap out one JFET for another. But, I don't know what the trade off is when I do.

Tyrian - clean signal, no distortion/effect

Don't get discouraged. Just remember that you didn't start off as a good player -- it took hours and hours of practice to get where you are.

SOLVED I’m the worst. Lot lizard

Well, the first thing I noticed is that you built the pedal on the wrong side of the enclosure -- typically the pedal goes on the inside. Just messing with you. 🤣 Everything looks good as far as I can tell. Let's start with the basics. If you're getting a bypass signal, then your...

C2CE Nobelium Bass Preamp & DI

Looks great. I think you did a fantastic job. I have to say, this pedal (although the most expensive I've built) is also the most rewarding pedal I've built. I seriously believe this pedal leveled up my playing. I get so much more tone and punch from my playing with this pedal -- and the...

Blue Breaker -- aka Blue World

Ok, so just another Blue Breaker. I actually built this one a couple of months ago, but I'm just getting around to posting a build report. I've been going through my older builds looking for bogus chips. This one had a bogus TL072 in it, so I replaced it with a legit one, and that's why I'm...

What does CC1 mean in this schematic?

I don't know about this circuit, but typically CC1 and CC2 refer to pins A5 and B5 (respectively) on a USB-C connector.

    MPF102 Substitution

Ok, so I have both the J201 and the2N5457, which should I use for the Wavelord?
